STC3 is the perfect place for entrepreneurs and start-up businesses to set up an office in Kyoto. It is located on the 8th floor of the ASTEM building, 5 minutes'walk from JR Tambaguchi Station, with views of Kyoto Tower and the city.

STC3 is a shared office and coworking space designed for those interested in entrepreneurship, planning to start a business in the future, or looking for a base for their operations after launching.With our space, you can open an office with a low initial cost. The monthly membership fee is 11,000 yen for a general member (admission fee is an additional 11,000 yen).

ASTEM/RI is a public interest incorporated foundation that has been supporting Kyoto City’s industrial development for many years as an affiliated organization of Kyoto City.

Get an address

All general members can register STC3's address as their official business address. Having a business address within Kyoto Research Park enhances your company's credibility. All general members are assigned dedicated mailboxes to receive their mail.

and facilities

STC3 is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Here, you will find the everything you need to set up your business. Meeting spaces are available, and you can reserve them for use.
Wi-Fi, a copy machine, a meeting monitors and a whiteboard are also available.

STC3 offers various seminars on entrepreneurship, Allowong you to start your business while learning.
ASTEM/RI, which operates STC3, implements numerous programs to support start-ups in Kyoto City. Members can receive various types of appropriate support.

Support for
Startup Visa Holders

STC3 is a “certified coworking space” recognized by Kyoto Prefecture under the Startup Visa Program. Startup visa holders are entitled to free membership at STC3 for a maximum of one year.

Kyoto Entrepreneur MEETUP “Networking with International Entrepreneurs in Kyoto”

January 24th FRI, 2025
A networking event with international students, foreign residents interested in entrepreneurship and foreign entrepreneurs in Kyoto. At this event, international entrepreneurs who have started their own businesses in Kyoto talked about their difficulties and specific experiences in starting their businesses. There also were time for talk session and networking.
